After 12 beautiful years to getting to know each other, Anne-Marie O’Dwyer, from Fedamore said yes when, then boyfriend, Seamie Lyons, from Clarina, proposed to her in their home on December 16, 2019.  

On July 31, 2021 Anne-Marie and Seamie said their vows in front of 50 close family and friends in St. John the Baptist Church in Fedamore and moved on to the Radisson Blu hotel and Spa in Limerick for their celebrations.  

It was almost surreal for the couple to see all their family and close friends attend their wedding, something they feared may never happen over Covid, but they were beyond elated to have them all present with them to share in their very important celebrations.  

Walking into the beautiful ballroom as man and wife to the Sunday Game music playing throughout the room at the Radisson was certainly a take home from their big day. “Hearing everyone cheering and seeing them smiling is a moment we will never forget,” share Anne-Marie. 

Anne-Marie and Seamie are eternally grateful to wedding planner, Sian Cahill, at the Radisson, for her patience and kindness leading up to their special occasion. “Planning a wedding on a normal day is one thing but planning during COVID was ten times harder and the unknown caused a lot of questions. Sian was so patient with all our questions. She could not have helped us anymore and we felt so grateful. On the day, everything went off perfectly, the place looked amazing and so was the food; 10 out of 10 for service.” 

Although they haven’t gone abroad yet for their honeymoon, the newlyweds took a trip to Belfast and Athlone and stayed in some wonderful hotels.
