It’s official, a vibrant lavender toned hue named Very Peri is the 2022 chosen Pantone Colour of the Year. So, I hear you ask, what can you do with this information. Well, if you are an on-trend wedding couple then wouldn’t it be very cool to include this hue into your celebrations.
Whatever your décor plans are, there will be plenty of space for colour so this is the perfect opportunity to include Very Peri into your wedding. Ideas that spring to mind are chair sashes, table centre pieces, candles, lavender on the tables, wedding favours, pew decorations and so much more.
Chat to your chosen florist and see what they can do with this. They may not even be aware that Very Peri is a thing but see if it’s possible to infuse a little lush lavender into your floral arrangements and bouquets. It will only bring a smile to your face.
Okay so you may not want a dress or suit in the colour of Very Peri (although some do and it’s class), but you could subtly incorporate it into a belt or jewellery or a tie. It’s the small statements that scream the loudest. Maybe you go bolder and choose flower girl dresses or page boy suits in this tone and maybe your bridesmaid dresses also. Think outside the box on this one.
You could easily include this 2022 chosen tone into your wedding invitations, cards, table plans and so much more. Your stationery designer will be able to guide you on the right path with this one but it’s the first glimpse your guests will receive into what your wedding will be like.
You may already have a themed cake in mind but if you are going with something slightly simplistic why not jazz it up with lavender hues made of icing or go a step further and incorporate real lavender on the cake. Can you just imagine the smell, divine!
