Weddings are expensive! When planning your special day, it can be easy to let the costs pile up if you don't think carefully about the details ahead of time. With so many wedding suppliers and so many options available to you, it can be tough to choose the right one - especially if you aren't sure what questions to ask or how to determine which supplier will be best for your situation. With these tips on choosing the right wedding supplier, you'll feel more confident knowing you've made the best choice for your situation!

Do they specialise in Weddings?

lf you're not sure whether a business specialises in weddings. don't be afraid to ask If it's something that doesn't come up naturally during your initial conversation. you need to ask directly do you do wedding work and ask to see samples of their work in this area. If. for example. the cake shop. mainly do birthday cakes and the odd wedding cake. we would recommend going with a professional cake designer. their expertise and experience will ensure you get the cake of your dreams for your big day.

Can they cater to your budget?

Most wedding suppliers have a minimum spend, and if you don't have that sort of money to spend on your big day, you need to know this upfront. It should be one of the first questions your pose. You must get a rough idea of how much money you need to spend before calling a supplier and making an appointment. If you're not sure what your budget should be, give yourself plenty of time to look into your finances to make an informed decision.

Are the reliable?

Do they have a solid online presence and reputation? Do they seem consistent, and do they respond to email or phone calls promptly? Don't be afraid to ask for references and get in touch with those references! Ask a potential supplier how long they've been in business and if they've ever done anything before your wedding. If you can't find any evidence of previous work online or on social media, you might consider looking elsewhere. Are they licensed, although this isn't necessary it could be helpful in proving they are reputable.

Are they active on social media? If so. you should be able to see their work. reviews and general interaction with the general public on these platforms. This will give you an insight into their work ethic. talent and the way they deal with people. Having a connection with your suppliers is super important
