Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life. There’s no doubt you will enjoy every second but you want to make sure that the guests enjoy themselves too. Here we have listed a few tips to ensure you have the perfect ceremony on your big day.
The ceremony is a very special part of your day and is the most important part. Although it will feel like it flew for you and your partner (due to nerves), you don't want to bore your guests in the audience. So try to keep it short and sweet.
Although this may seem like an obvious one, some people decide they don't want music in the church. That's perfectly fine if that’s your own personal preference but if you do decide to have a singer, pianist or choir on the day it definitely adds to the atmosphere. It will most certainly make a difference when you walk down the aisle and also when you and your partner are leaving the ceremony.
Flowers most definitely make the church look nice on the day so why not add some brightly coloured
flowers to your own bouquet and at the top of the aisle. To make them look even prettier, you could also use ribbons to tie the bouquets.
This is an important one and a tip your family will appreciate. If you reserve the first one or two aisles for
family and close friends you'll have them close to you for the most important parts of the ceremony. There's nothing worse than looking over your shoulder to the front row and not seeing the people that mean the most to you. Why not customize some signs to reserve the seats and make them feel extra important.
If your flower girl is a child, the last thing you want is her refusing last minute to walk down the aisle. You will be nervous enough yourself on the day so why not designate one of the bridesmaids to look after any of the children that may be a part of the bridal party. Ask her to bring along colouring books or sweets to keep their mind occupied and make sure they're happy.
